rehearsal dinner

Not sure if anyone is even reading any more, hehe. Since we are so slow in updating! I've tried convincing Ryan to blog about some of his events and his side of things, but haven't been too successful yet, hehe. I'll try to wrap up at least my side of things soon.

After rehearsal, we had dinner at Julian Smith BBQ pit. Ryan's parents rented out the building, and Ryan's dad cooked bbq for everyone. The sides were provided by Roux's catering, and my sister did the grooms cake. Everything was delicious!

The amazing cake! Holly should really open her own bakery. It was four layers of different flavor cake, pound cake, chocolate cake, mmmm. She did a fondant icing in the shape of GT's Bobby Dodd stadium, decorated in Tech colors and everything! Sooooo delicious!

rehearsal

I stole these from Lauren, one of my bridesmaids. I thought everything went pretty well, we had a tired ringbearer though so it took a lot of time to work with him. Note for anyone putting kids in your wedding, they may reeeeally hate rehearsal and you may spend a lot of time trying to convince them to walk down the aisle that night, and they may not do it or cry a lot...you get the picture. But don't worry! Because the day of, the kids will really surprise you and do a perfect job! Now I wish we hadn't fussed so much on rehearsal night, because our ringbearer was really perfect the next day.
